French Creek’s Easter Egg Hunt: A Day of Joy, Laughter, and Community

This past Easter, French Creek came alive with the colors of spring and the warmth of community as we hosted our annual Easter Egg Hunt—a truly heartwarming celebration that brought together residents, families, and staff for a day we won’t soon forget.



Brightly colored eggs were scattered throughout our outdoor space, just waiting to be discovered. Children lined up with eager faces for Cheekies Face Painting, dreaming of unicorns, sharks, flowers, and fun designs. Inside our Therapy Gym, the excitement continued with bunny sack races, egg-and-spoon balancing challenges, and prize tables that lit up every little face.



One of the biggest highlights? Our photo booth, filled with pastel props, bunny ears, and endless smiles. Families captured sweet, silly moments that they'll treasure for years to come. And of course, the Easter Bunny himself made a special appearance—posing for photos with families, children, and even some of our residents who couldn’t resist joining the fun!



While the egg hunt was the star of the show—with kids dashing, searching, and laughing—the true prize was the joy we shared and the powerful reminder of the connection between generations. Watching residents cheer for the little ones and seeing families mingle, laugh, and make memories together reminded us all what community is truly about.

We ended the day with cookies and juice boxes, a simple treat to cap off a day filled with big smiles and full hearts. We’re beyond grateful to everyone who helped make this event so special. Here’s to more sweet memories at French Creek—where every bunny belongs!
