Gearing Up to Head Back-to-School

On August 2nd, The Woods on French Creek held our annual Back-to-School party! We put this event together to help our employees' families with the upcoming school year by providing them with book bags and supplies. It also brought us closer and allowed us to create new memories by enjoying a fun day together.



Everyone enjoyed some food, games, music, and face painting. It was such a beautiful day, and we enjoyed it out on our patio! Our Chef, Kristin, and Maintenace Director, Dale, teamed up to make lunch for everyone, complete with hot dogs, chocolate chip cookies, and Chef Kristin's famous lemonade. They knocked it out of the park with this meal!


Events like this are important, not only for the employees but for the residents too. It allows our residents to meet the families of the team members who take care of them, and we believe that's a very special thing. Putting events like this together is also good for our Administration Team because it gives them a bonding experience. All in all, the event ended up going way better than any of us could have anticipated, thanks to everyone who had a hand in organizing it. We're looking forward to more family events in the future!
