Veterans Day Tribute at Avon Nursing Home

We honored our Veterans this week at our facility for Veterans Day. The Cleveland Clinic Hospice partnered with us and our local Avon VFW post to hold a special service. We would like to thank Mike Khoma, Commander of the Avon/Avon Lake Post, for giving the Veterans Day Tribute speech. Mike touched the residents, family, and staff in our crowd, leaving us with heartfelt emotions. We would also like to give thanks to The Cleveland Clinic Hospice Chaplin, Sr. Paula Terese Pilon, for leading us in The National Anthem and Laura DePiero, Hospice Administrator, for speaking on behalf of this ceremony. Lastly, we would like to thank Christine Hinman, Manager of Volunteer Services, for collaboration in making this all happen. I know the Veterans at The Woods on French Creek really felt special on this day, and to see them being honored like this was indescribable. With respect, honor, and gratitude, we give thanks to all our Veterans. Happy Veterans Day from The Woods on French Creek Health and Rehabilitation Center.
